Current Need: We are seeking an Associate Level Sales Analyst to join our FP&A team in Richmond, VA. Our ideal candidate will be a new college graduate in the beginning stages of their career looking for an incredible opportunity to learn and grow with an excellent team in McKesson's Medical Surgical business unit. Eligible candidates will be currently located within the Richmond area.

Position Description

The McKesson Medical Surgical (MMS) Sales FP&A Finance Associate is an exciting role that embeds within the sales business to provide financial analysis, reporting, and insights to help the business succeed. The role has a blend of routine deliverables (monthly reporting, periodic forecasts and annual planning), business partnering to the sales organization, and learning from a world class team. The position reports to the Sr. Director of Extended Care Sales FP&A.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes profit and loss income statements and prepares reports and recommendations to management

  • Generates financial forecast, opportunities and risk management, and plan activities

  • Gathers data and provides product and customer financial trend analysis

  • Advise leadership on financial performance and business reporting

  • Partner with sales leaders on key business priorities

  • Builds strong relationships across the business to become a trusted finance business partner

  • Performs ad hoc analysis and additional duties as directed by immediate manager and other sales FP&A leaders

  • Commits to and models the company's ICARE (Integrity, Customer-First, Accountability, Respect and Excellence) and ILEAD (Inspire, Leverage, Execute, Advance and Develop) core values

Requirements:

  • 0 - 2 years o relevant experience

Critical Preffered Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or other business major

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • Intermediate knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint

  • 0 - 2 years of business related experience (internships are considered within this work history)

  • Ability to solve problems in collaborative approach

  • Excellent written and verbal communication within a business setting

  • Experience managing competing priorities while executing multiple concurrent tasks within deadlines

Additional Skills:

  • Strong business acumen mindset

  • Knowledge of SQL a plus

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools a plus (Power BI)

  • Strong sense of drive and initiative

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or other business major

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$24.01 - $40.01
