Job Description


Staffmark has partnered with a prominent company in Mt. Summit, IN, in search of a Warehouse Sorter to join their dynamic team. Renowned for its commitment to efficiency, quality, and safety, this company is dedicated to fostering your growth while providing a secure work environment.


Pay: $17 with experience, entry-level $15-$16

Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday-Friday


As a Warehouse Sorter, your responsibilities include operating a shear to cut metal to customer specifications and packing it into drums for shipments. You must be capable of lifting 40 lbs, standing for 8 hours or longer, bending, pushing, and pulling.


Job Duties:

  • Run power shear.
  • Practice precision: measure twice and cut once.
  • Utilize tape measure, caliper, or templates.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean workspace.


Preference will be given to candidates with machine operator experience, familiarity with working with metal, and ability to handle physical tasks, including standing for the duration of the shift.
