DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting critical work-streams within ORS and the OFAM Front Office including data analysis and reporting at the Assistant Commissioner level.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of OFAM and ORS strategic initiatives.
  • Assisting with providing executive support for ORS Director including managing their calendar, scheduling meetings, reserving conference room space, preparing briefs and read-ahead documents, etc.
  • Helping to ensure completion of ORS strategic objectives.
  • Supporting managing special projects for the ORS Director and Branch Chiefs as required.
  • Supporting managing the OFAM inventive recruitment hiring efforts:
  • Helping manage the real-time tracking system that provides greater transparency, assigns accountability, and provides visibility on all human capital transactions.
  • Developing and implementing automated solutions that reduce processing times and increase reporting capabilities related to staffing.
  • Helping manage and develop content for reporting at the OFAM Recruitment Community of Practice.
  • Supporting managing Performance Management efforts for ORS including:
  • Developing performance plans and goals for supervisory staff within ORS.
  • Identifying accomplishments and progress towards goals for Mid-Year and end of Year reviews for Division Director and Branch Chiefs.
  • Providing ORS accomplishments for incorporation into Assistant Commissioner's performance review.
  • Highlighting ORS accomplishments in talking points and briefings for above-mentioned meetings.
  • Developing and implementing an automated system for the collection and reporting of performance metrics as related to the ORS and OFAM mission.
  • Maintain Tables of Organization and update Organizational Charts displayed on SharePoint.
  • Leading and managing support of OFAM Diversity Program including DEIA briefings.
  • Leading and managing support for OFAM Succession Management Initiatives.
  • Leading and managing support for Self-Nominating Leadership Development Program and Self-Nominating Leadership Program.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, COMPETENCIES:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience is desired performing the full range of activities related to program management, program support, change management, and Governance within Federal or State agencies.
  • Proven record of providing superior customer service to individuals and organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to add value to customer interactions.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective decision making techniques.
  • Superior presentation skills.
  • Ability to think conceptually and strategically, while maintaining a practical approach to using time and resources.
  • Superior business acumen.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, consulting, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong project planning skills and ability to design, implement, and facilitate successful leadership initiatives and programs.

Preferred or Desired experience, knowledge, skills, abilities:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience is desired performing the full range of activities related to program management, program support, change management, and Governance within Federal or State agencies
