GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Designer for our Fishers, IN office. A successful candidate is one who uses engineering principles and design software helps to design and develop plans for civil infrastructure projects.

Job Duties:

• Prepare plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Participates in technical studies, design, preparation of specifications, and technical plans.
• Filling out and completing permit applications for processing.
• Construction administration support including field observation reports.

Experience and Education:

• Performs work under minimal supervision.
• Independently solve complex issues and problems under the direction of a project manager.
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter.
• Requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 4 to 6 years of experience.
• Familiar with reaching out to jurisdictional authorities to determine the correct requirements.
