Job Description:

2nd and 3rd Shift Positions

If so, we encourage you to apply for the Crisis Specialist position with the new Crisis Services Grant.

The crisis services grant was designed to support and restore the delivery of clinical services impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and effectively address the needs of both adults and school aged children. In this position, you will support existing services for clients and help develop new services including mobile crisis services and crisis diversion services. A major focus of this job will be prevention and health promotion.

As part of a Crisis Team, you will be asked to fulfill the following essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Help develop services to include mobile crisis services and crisis diversion services
  • Provide face to face/telehealth crisis response/assessment services
  • Provide resources for individuals in need of Mental Health and Substance Use Services
  • Support/linkage to area resources with follow up services to clients
  • Being a positive and supportive influence for the clients, as well as for the staff.
  • As a Mobile Crisis Specialist, you will be a key facet in the recovery process for all of the clients in the program, as you work closely with the Program Manager and fellow Mobile Crisis Specialists to ensure that the expectations of the program are being met.
  • Deploy to the community for crisis calls

Preferences:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred. Bachelor's in psychology, social work, or a related field from a four-year college or university preferred. Experience working and/or volunteering within the behavioral health field, criminal justice, or social services field will be considered in place of non-social work (or related field) degree.
  • Two years of related work or related college experience regarding substance use and recovery.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Meet billable hour productivity standards.
  • Complete clinical documentation within one business day of the service provided.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • All other duties as assigned.

Entry Pay Range:

$15.11--$18.84
