Taking action against racism
In the wake of widespread civil unrest that began in May 2020, Greg Carmichael made a prompt public statement against racism, and the Bank committed itself to being part of the solution. Our commitment was more than words; it resulted in concrete actions that are ongoing. As the nation reached a tipping point in a long history of racial injustice impacting Black Americans, we, too, were galvanized to double down on our efforts.
Inclusion Councils and business Resource Groups (BRGs)
We have an extensive array of Business Resource Groups (BRGs) made up of constituencies of employees and allies who are focused on employee development, community involvement and business innovation. The BRGS and our Inclusion Councils give employees opportunities for networking, learning and personal growth, as well as an outlet through which to volunteer and serve the community inclusion councils and 70 local BRGs.
